The experiences of patients, their families and staff are supported by the following voluntary groups and services based at Murray District Hospital (MDH).

Our volunteer programs

Friends of MDH

The Friends of MDH provide valuable support to patients from this tight-knit community through the provision of trolley services to the ward and fundraising for valuable hospital equipment and hospital projects which benefit the community.

Red Cross

The local Australian Red Cross branch visits our ward with a trolley providing toiletry items and snacks for patients and visitors at the hospital. The Red Cross make an annual donation to the hospital from funds raised.
