Rockingham General Hospital (RGH) is proud to celebrate two outstanding teams who have taken out top honours at the 2025 Australian Institute of Management (AIM) Pinnacle Awards.

Representing South Metropolitan Health Service, RGH 's Integrated Cancer Service and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) teams have won their respective categories, an achievement that reflects their dedication to delivering exceptional care.

The Integrated Cancer Service was awarded for Innovation Excellence, acknowledging its innovative, patient-centred model that addresses health inequities in the region.

Through strong partnerships, clinical trials and prevention campaigns, the team has improved access and outcomes for patients facing some of WA's highest cancer rates.

The ICU team received the People and Culture Excellence award for embedding a culture of psychological safety and collaboration, empowering staff and enhancing patient care. Their leadership in emergency response and commitment to wellbeing has created a resilient, high-performing unit.

These awards are Western Australia's leading recognition of business leadership excellence, celebrating organisations that demonstrate innovation, impact and commitment across corporate, government, community and not-for-profit sectors.

Each winning team will receive $20,000 in workplace training for a charity of their choice, with Breast Cancer WA and The Crew Rockingham set to benefit from these generous contributions.

Executive Director of RkPG, Asheila Narang, congratulated the teams on their success.

"These awards recognise the extraordinary commitment our staff have to delivering safe and compassionate care," Asheila said.

"Their work is transforming lives and strengthening our community."

Congratulations to our Integrated Cancer Service and ICU teams on this incredible achievement.

Their leadership and innovation are making a lasting difference to the Rockingham community.
