RGH on the hunt for parents to help shape maternity service

Rockingham General Hospital is looking for community members to join its Maternity Advisory Group to share their knowledge and/or experiences to shape the maternity service now and into the future.
“Our group is here to support and represent the voices of every parent who uses our maternity services,” Acting Clinical Midwife Specialist, Monica Rogan said.
“The experiences and insights shared by our members are invaluable in helping us improve maternity care and create the best possible birthing journey for families in the Rockingham area.”
People from all walks of life are encouraged to apply, with the group seeking to have representation from different genders, abilities, culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and Aboriginal community members.
The group will run for the next two years and members will give 1-1.5 hours of their time every twelve weeks to attend a meeting, and a few hours between meetings to review information.
To apply, send an email with your name, contact details and a paragraph explaining why becoming a group member interests you.
Applications close on 17 March 2025.
