If you have a spinal cord injury (SCI), a series of free online education sessions in September can help you learn and understand how to manage the condition over the longer term.

Based at Fiona Stanley Hospital, the Spinal Outreach Service (external site) provides specialist knowledge, advice, early intervention and education to people with spinal cord injury over the age of 16, their carers and families, and clinicians and care providers.

The service is hosting four education sessions:

  • Skin care and pressure injury prevention (2:00pm to 3:00pm, Monday 2 September 2024)
  • Bowel management (2:00pm to 3:00pm, Wednesday 4 September 2024)
  • Autonomic dysreflexia (1:00pm to 2:00pm, Friday 6 September 2024)
  • Ageing with SCI (2:00pm to 3:00pm, Friday 6 September 2024).

Find more information (external site) including session content, how to register and registration closing dates.
